Bike & E-Bike Servicing
We offer 2 levels of bike servicing and a separate e-bike service:

Basic service : £65 - for regular maintenance throughout the year. For keeping your bike tuned up and running well.

Full service : £135 - a comprehensive yearly service where the bike is full disassembled into its component parts, checked, cleaned and reassembled. Includes wheel and freehub service.

E - Bike service : £30 - a comprehensive check of your electric bike's electrical systems and motor - available as a stand alone service for or as an addition to a Basic or Full service.

Battery Capacity test (Bosch only) £10 extra
We service Bosch, Shimano and Fuzua mid motor e-bikes.

Many of repairs and common jobs listed below can be carried out by our mobile repair service.
• Puncture repair inc. new inner tube : £16
• New brake cable inc. fitting & adjustment : £15
• New gear cable inc fitting and indexing : £15
• Brake Bleed inc. brake fluid : £17.50 per brake
• Fit new brake pads : £10 + price of brake pads
• New Chain fitting : £10 (+ price of the chain)

Suspension Servicing
We service and repair most of the leading brands and models of forks and shocks. Our workshop is fitted out with a vacuum fill machine, nitrogen station and all the specialist tools required for servicing Fox, Rockshox, Cane Creek, Marzocchi and DVO .

Air can Service - from £35
We can help you with travel length change, damper upgrades, repairs and other set up changes you might want to make to your forks

Collection & Drop off
We know you want to ride in your free time and not spend your weekend or downtime taking your bike to a 9-5 bike shop.
At Galloway Cycle Works, we do things differently.
We are totally flexible in our working hours and can be available weekends, evenings and early mornings.
This means we can offer you a date and time slot that suits you.
Visiting the workshop is by appointment only.

• We collect your bike or suspension from you and return it when it is ready.
• You drop your bike or suspension off at our workshop at a time that suits you.
• We come to your location and carry out a routine repair. eg puncture, broken cables, brake pads etc

To secure your time slot for a collection or a mobile repair we require a £10 deposit.
This is paid once we have discussed what your bike needs and we have confirmed the slot.
Collection and Mobile Repair Prices
Our collection zones cover large areas of the DG5, DG6, DG7 and DG8 postcodes
Collection is free for :- basic service, full service and full suspension servicing.
For all other collections and the mobile repair service a there is a minimum spend depending on your location.
The charges are:-
• Within Gatehouse of Fleet vicinity - free, no minimum charge
• Zone 1 - £24 minimum spend
• Zone 2 - £40 minimum spend

Custom Builds and New Bike Assembly
Custom Builds - Build a bike from your ideal component parts that's tailored to your specific needs, likes and preferences.
Wheel Builds - Pick your ideal hubs and rims and we can build it to suit your weight and riding.
New Bike Assembly - If you have bought a new bike or e-bike online and it is delivered in a box, we can assemble it for you, M-check it and give you a PDI report.
