Galloway Cycle Works is a bike, e-bike and mountain bike suspension service & repair workshop based in Gatehouse of Fleet, Scotland.
We’ve made bike, e-bike and suspension servicing easy and hassle free by coming to you and collecting your bike at a time that suits, so you don’t have to find the time to load your bike or heavy e-bike into the car or have the hassle of taking your suspension off.
Simply, book a convenient time slot, we collect your bike suspension, service it and return it to you when it's ready.
We have a quick turnaround and aim to return it within 3-5 days so you have as little downtime as possible.
Collection slots are available up to 8.00pm most days and our collection area covers large parts of Dumfries & Galloway.
We are fully insured for transporting your bikes and for any work we have carried out.
Visits to the workshop are by appointment, so please phone before coming,as we might be out on a collection, up to our elbows in oil or be out riding.
The workshop is run by Bruce, a highly skilled & trained bike mechanic and a keen mountain biker.
Bruce is a Cytech Master mechanic (Cytech levels 1-3), is Cytech e-bike certified has undertaken Bosch ebike, and Fox suspension training.
The workshop is fully equipped with Parktool and Unior bike tools and all the suspension equipment necessary for servicing shocks, forks and dropper seat posts. There are also the 2 obligatory workshop dogs, Ted and Boo. Ted is the brains and Boo is the brawn (55kg!). Thankfully Boo spends most of his time patrolling outside as he finds the workshop ergonomically challenging.
